So what exactly is an affiliate program, you might ask? An affiliate program is where a company offers to pay you a certain amount of money for either a click through from your site, or a fixed amount for a lead (where the visitor signs up for a newsletter, etc.) or a percentage of a purchase made by a visitor as a result of a click through.
Even if the visitor does not make a purchase on the advertiser’s site right away, most programs will offer "cookie duration" of usually around 30-90 days.
What this really means is that as long as the visitor has the cookie in their cache; even if they return to the advertisers site one month later, you will still receive the commission from the sale however, as in all things that are business related, cookie duration is not a guarantee when you sign up for an affiliation program and is something that you need to check for before signing on.
The best way to try to explain this to you is to give you some of my personal experiences when looking for an affiliation program.
"When I first started searching for and implementing affiliations with various companies; it was one of the largest parts of time wasted during my day when it came to managing my website. I spent a disgusting amount of hours searching for suitable affiliate programs, implementing the links and then keeping track of what they did".
If you are hoping that marketing a website affiliation is going to get you rich quickly, forget about it. You will have to spend a lot of time in your project if you want to make it work for you. Then again, all money making ventures do, just ask Donald Trump.
"Of course, the income that was generated from each program was actually pretty low at that time because at that time the number of visitors to my site was not high either. With this in mind, it was not particularly uncommon for companies to disappear on me without warning me about it and since most affiliate programs only pay out at around the $25 mark, I would lose a lot of revenue in the end.
The other part of affiliation that I was not happy with was the idea of another companies banner’s being plastered all over my site, if you place too many of them on any given page it only serves to confuse and irritate your visitors.
think about it; how do you like it when you visit a site. Any more than one animated element on a web page can be very distracting which leaves you with nothing gained at all, and many affiliate programs insist upon this type of bargain when signing on. By now, you must realize that I learned a lot just by trial and error.
Affiliate tracking can also a problem. After you have successfully applied to become an affiliate for a company, they will usually supply you with some personalized code or link. It is very important that this code is implemented correctly into your page; because otherwise you may be sending the company visitors without being reimbursed.
Most snippets of code contain a unique user id; which is used by the company to distinguish which site sent traffic. Even if you do implement this code in the right way, it has been my experience on occasion for it not to function correctly".
Your time is too valuable and could be better spent creating content and updating your site. But there are some excellent individual companies offering affiliate programs out there.
When it comes to website affiliation, you will also need to know how to conduct a market study because this is how you will find your target audience.
Without a targeted audience, your marketing campaign will not be effective. Below I have begun to give you an outline of what you should include in your market study. It is best to write it down; especially if you are hoping to entice someone else into investing in your marketing venture.

These ways of getting listed on google.com (tm) the quick and easy way are the fruits of my labor since I started way back in 1993 on the Internet. I should have sold these secrets to you and make a couple of bucks. But I value what God had said to me that if I give I will receive.. good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. So those are the terms when you use this article God will pay me for it.

1. Visit http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ and add all your website sitemaps. Sitemap is like a building directory or content directory map of your website. In google sitemaps it works one directory at a time, without calling any outside urls other than your domain. You need to create separate sitemaps on each subdirectory, folder you have. Prioritize your root directory first. To be effective you need to have at least 100 .htm files on your root directory. Your sitemap must be in .xml (extended markup language)
2. Visit http://www.google.com/ig/ and add all your content, by clicking on "add content" on the top left. All content must be feeds in themselves and must be in .xml format too.
3. Visit http://www.google.com/addurl/ and add your url or websites addresses. Be sure it's a toplevel domain such as .COM, .NET, or .ORG If you're in a hurry I could sell to you U.S.$5.00 domain names, just go to http://domains.nabaza.net/ the process is all automatic it comes with webhosting paid separately.
4. Obtain a free orkut.com (tm) account. Orkut.com is free and can only be joined when you're invited by an already orkut member. Google.com (tm) scans and prioritizes contents coming from it's partner sites like in the case of orkut being it's partner when it comes to social networking community. Get a free invitation, all orkut.com needs is your first name, lastname and email address and email them to william@nabaza.com and I'll rush your free orkut.com invites. Once youre there and logged in, list your site and mention your urls as many times as relevant in your profiles and in your about area. Make friends invite as many as you can, to as many as 5 billion members and scribble in their scribble board and sign in their testimonials of all that you do pls bear in mind that you're not there to get a date but you're there on one mission to get listed so don't be sidetracked. Once you do scribbling and testimonial here and there always mention your url one liner will not hurt.
5. Obtain a gmail.com (tm) account. Like orkut.com (tm) it is free 2.8gb (at the time of writing) and it will benefit you most. You can only get this account when someone invites you in. So just give me your email address and email to william@nabaza.com and I'll rush in your gmail account invite. Once you're logged in there, add your urls in your email signature, to your profile and whenever you email add it to your subject, body and mention it as often as possible when you send your email. Google.com scans it's gmail.com email messages for content for proper delivery of adsense on it. Once it scans your url on it, it lists it.
6. Obtain a free blog account on www.blogger.com and your web address on it will be something like http://weblord.blogspot.com/ Once you're there mention your urls on your profile, your blog entries, whenever possible and modify the template on it and put in the urls near the comment box, so everytime you have an entry it will act like a email signature containing your urls. Describe your site's capabilities and also yours. YOu are selling yourself but not hard sell make it like you're telling an emotional story in the form of diary entries.
7. Obtain a yahoo.com account and login here http://my.yahoo.com make sure you add all your content in .xml format. If you have already an account on blogspot/blogger.com you will automatically have .xml format content, if for example your url there is http://nabaza.blogspot.com your .xml content will be http://nabaza.blogspot.com/atom.xml that's the one you submit to yahoo.com with your url on it of course. Usually google.com prioritizes contents from their partner sites, huge sites and yahoo.com is a huge site, so when it the googlebot (tm) (googles automated site crawler) sees your urls on yahoo.com it eats it and lists it. Make sure your profiles contains as many urls as relevant as you can list them, on the aboue me, on the hobbies, etc. http://profiles.yahoo.com/ and also when you're there upgrade for free your profiles on yahoo.com login here http://360.yahoo.com/ and enabled your profile should integrate with 360.yahoo.com. There you go you are now listed on yahoo.com, if the googlebot scans yahoo.com for contents and sees a new url on it, it eats it, and lists it on google.com

As much as possible your creativity is needed here, among the results, try to get in touch with the webmasters and arrange for a link exchange or link trading system with them. Webmasters respond fast and they talk straight so be sure to study very well their site content before blurting it out with them.
9. Get a free googlegroups.com (tm) account and create as many mailing list or google groups that's relevant for your website. Make sure on the url or webaddress area of each googlegroup account you open you mention something about your site. Great product for the price!
I bought this because my girlfriend and I had to move 1200miles and all we had was my Subaru WRX to move with! The bag is very large and fit everything that we needed. We had snow and rain for a good portion of the trip and everything was nice and dry when we arrived! I highly recommend this bag if your on a budget!
Works well, lots of room
We were taking a camping vacation and needed some extra space for storing items so your dogs would have more room in the back of the SUV and stuff wouldn't be stacked above the window.
The item seems to be pretty well-made, and looks very waterproof. The inside looks like the material a wetsuit is made up and there is a rain flap over the heavy zipper. I think if you accidentally put the zipper on the front or something like that it would probably force water into it eventually but otherwise seems well-sealed. We didn't have to try this as we had good weather.
It may be a little harder to get it to look like the nice square that the pictures show but you can pack it any way you want. Putting a small amount in leaves it flatter and more aerodynamic, packing more in makes it square and over-packing it gives it a rounded shape. You can put a whole lot in this and it held up well to over-packing.
The straps held tightly and the carrier worked well, and folded back up for relatively small storage afterward.

We bought this to take my daughter too college. It freed up a lot of space in our van. We also used two bungee cords for our own sense of security. We didn't encounter any rain, so we can't speak to the waterproof feature. It served it's purpose for us.

This Meguiar's microfiber has crazy absorbancy. It amazes me every time I use the product. I received my first X2020 in a car care kit. When used in conjunction with a chamois or deionized water it will sopp up all the nooks and crannies of the car i.e. rearviews, door handles, emblems etc. There is no water left behind after a single wipe. It leaves a streak free and debris free finish with very little effort. They are machine washable and come out looking great with no fuzz from other towels in the mix.
I recently purchased a pack of 3 for $8.88, an incredible price, and use one for wheels, one as a workhorse and one as a finisher. It is a great combination. You will never buy another type of microfiber cloth. Meguiar's has, once again, perfected an essential car care product.

good shoe for prewalkers
great as indoor slippers, easy to slip on and hard for baby to take off. good for the prewalker. i don't know if they will provide enough stability once the baby starts walking.
We love Robeez
Very nice and durable shoes. We love Robeez shoes. Target and Walmart sells similar shoes carry other brand names. Those are filmsy and not durable. The materials are also not as fine as Robeez. It really worths the price, especially I bought this on-sale, almost the same price as what's in Target.

Robeez are great for my one-year-old because he will not keep socks on longer than 30 seconds. He isn't walking well enough yet to warrant 'real' shoes but there are times when we want him to have some type of foot covering, so Robeez work great.
He can get them off, but it takes a lot more effort than pulling his socks off.

I see mixed reviews here, but this is a far superior tshirt from any others I have worn. They are lighter weight and softer than Hanes. This means they not only feel better, but they can be hang-dried easily. This prevents any need to shrink them in a dryer, which many cotton products tend to do. Although their delivery speed causes some discontent with some, it is worth the wait. The feel and wear outweighs any shipment delay for me. Made in the USA, too. Highly recommend these shirts.

These shirts are apparently made by people who would consider a skeleton to be just a tad on the skinny side!
I'm a 6' guy who weighs 175 pounds (e.g. normal build, not fat or skinny), and I normally wear a medium-sized T-shirt with other typical brands (e.g. Hanes, FTL).
But with American Apparel T-shirts (I own 4 in various sizes), I have found that I need to order a large or even an XL to get a normal fit; the medium sized shirts are very snug on me - so guys who aren't either VERY small or VERY fit would probably do best to avoid small or medium sizes altogether.
Other than the goofball sizing, the shirts are fine, quality holds up well, but the fabric is on the lightweight side.

My son is an average 7 month old, 50th percentile all around. I ordered the shirt in 6-12 months and it just fits him. I really love the color and the fit i think it's cute my only issue is the shirt is on the small side. Plus my biggest beef is if you dry it you might as well throw it out (shrinks shrinks shrinks)
